Struggling with the untimely death of

-- and learns about the secrets
he had kept from her while new love
blooms. From the writer of Erin
Brockovich and In Her Shoes.
Cheers to Timothy Olyphant for proving
there's life after Deadwood. The ex-sheriff brought the same intense
commitment to his comic role as Christina Applegate's new love
interest on Samantha Who? that he did to HBO's late, great Western.
As billionaire Winston Funk, Olyphant oozed charm, despite an oddly
close-cropped haircut (is he keeping it short in hopes of reprising
his role as the chrome-domed assassin in a Hitman sequel?).
Applegate's amnesiac may have turned down his character's marriage
proposal, but Olyphant fans certainly hope she doesn't forget him
all over again.
Milla Jovovich joins 'Perfect
Getaway' @ Entertainment Weekly:

FROM HOLLYWOOD REPORTER)
Milla Jovovich
and Kiele Sanchez (Lost) have joined Timothy Olyphant and
Steve Zahn in Relativity Media's thriller A Perfect Getaway,
from writer-director David Twohy (The Chronicles of Riddick,
Pitch Black).
Stop Loss is released this Friday, March
28th. Don't miss it!
Director Xavier
Gens' adaptation of the Hitman video game series stars Deadwood's
Timothy Olyphant as the mysterious Agent 47, a role that was
originally intended to go to Vin Diesel. The film gives us only the
slightest background on Olyphant's character and we learn that he
was raised by a covert operation from childhood to become a deadly
assassin. Cut to the present day and we see Agent 47 hard at work,
as he assassinates Russian president Mikhail Belicoff (Ulrich
Thomsen) - or at least he thinks he does. Diana, a computer that is
his only contact with his employers known as 'The Organization'
tells him that Belicoff is still alive and shows him press
conference footage to prove it.
Hollywood sex: What's hot or not? @
Hollywood.com:

Hollywood sex myth #1:
Women can orgasm in three seconds flat. Plenty of
movies perpetuate this lie, but our friend Jenna, 35, was
particularly annoyed by the bathroom quickie in 2006s Catch &
Release (Timothy Olyphant does one of the caterers at his
buddys wake while the widow, Jennifer Garner, hides behind the
shower curtain). He rams away at her against the sink and she comes
just like that, says Jenna. Yeah, right!
*note from the webmaster - maybe he's
just that good*
Hitman
Timothy Olyphant stars in an action thriller adapted from the video
game, playing a genetically engineered assassin hired to take out
criminal masterminds and ending up on the run as an Interpol agent (Dougray
Scott) and the Russian military pursues him throughout eastern
Europe. The movie is available in single-disc releases with the
R-rated theatrical movie or an unrated edition, or in two-disc DVD
and Blu-ray sets with the unrated version. Among the extras are
deleted scenes and an alternate ending, a gag reel and segments on

DVD set, $34.98; two-disc Blu-ray set, $39.98. (20th Century Fox)

HITMAN ORIGINAL MOTION
PICTURE SOUNDTRACK
TO BE RELEASED BY LA-LA LAND RECORDS ON DECEMBER 11TH
Based on the
Top-Selling, Video Game Franchise, HITMAN Takes Aim At Moviegoers
(December 4- Burbank,
CA) La-La Land Records will release the soundtrack for HITMAN on
December 11, 2007. The film is based on the top-selling,
award-winning video game franchise. Emmy Award winning composer
Geoff Zanelli (DISTURBIA, INTO THE WEST) wrote the original music
for the film.
Geoff Zanelli attended
the prestigious Berklee College of Music. In 1994 he met Academy
Award-winning film composer Hans Zimmer and joined Zimmers studio
team. This experience led to working with composer John Powell on
his first Hollywood feature, FACE/OFF, directed by John Woo.
Throughout the following years, Zanelli would be called on as a
composer and arranger for Powell and Zimmer on many feature films,
including THE PRINCE OF EGYPT, ANTZ, the Golden Globe-nominated
scores for PEARL HARBOR and THE LAST SAMURAI, and the PIRATES OF
THE CARIBBEAN trilogy.
This led to Zanelli
scoring David Duchovny's feature directorial debut HOUSE OF D,
David Koepps SECRET WINDOW and Steven Spielberg's Into The West
for Dreamworks/TNT, for which we earned an Emmy Award for his
score. Recently, he scored DISTURBIA, the first live action film
from Dreamworks/Paramount since their merger.
Known only as Agent
47, The Hitman (Timothy Olyphant) is a genetically engineered
elite assassin. His hallmarks are a lethal grace, unwavering
precision, and resolute pride in his work. But even agent 47
couldnt anticipate a random complication in his life of
exactitude: the unexpected stirrings of his conscience and the
unfamiliar emotions aroused in him by a mysterious Russian woman.
The filmmakers
afforded me a great deal of creative freedom to write the score I
felt the story called for, said Zanelli about his experience on
HITMAN. I wanted to reflect musically the killing machine that
47 is, so tightly in sync with his environment, but give the
doomed relationship between 47 and Nika a very different
treatment: An exotic, tragic, not-quite-love theme. It was truly
rewarding to have the musicians commit to the ideas of the score
and approach it with such enthusiasm -- that was the final step in
tying the score together.
20th Century Fox present HITMAN, in theaters on November 21. The
HITMAN Original Motion Picture Soundtrack will be available in
stores or from
www.lalalandrecords.com
on December 11, 2007.

GameTap has
recently announced that they'll be giving away Hitman games for free
to promote the upcoming film, starring Timothy Olyphant as our
favorite shiny-headed killer. As always, there's a slight catch.
You'll need to play the games with their free-to-play service and
sit through some brief ads before you can dig into the games. Still,
it's a small price to pay to get a bunch of decent games for free.

Hitman's
Olyphant Got Big, Bald @ Sci Fi.com: here.
Timothy Olyphant, who stars in the upcoming
video-game-inspired movie Hitman, told SCI FI Wire that he
bulked up and shaved his head to portray the iconic lead character,
Agent 47.
Olyphant (HBO's Deadwood) spent six weeks working with a
personal trainer and taking classes on how to shoot automatic
weapons and had to lose his hair to look like the character in the
game.
"The costume is pretty cool, but shaving my head wasn't that great,"
Olyphant said. "But there's something about the shaved head and the
tattoo on the back of the skull that is striking. I had to shave it
on a daily basis for the movie. Every day."
Olyphant also gained 15 pounds for the role. "I would've tried to
gain 20 or 25, but the fact is that I didn't have a lot of time to
work on it," he said.
Director Xavier Gens praised his star. "When I met Tim, it was a
real revelation," Gens said. "He has something strange going on.
He's a really nice guy, very cool, but he can look really evil. ...
Timothy can change from good guy to bad guy in an instant."
Olyphant said that he didn't think much about the fact that he was
taking over a part that Vin Diesel had originally. "I never thought
back on that," he said. "I just thought about what I could bring to
it, and if I ever had worn a black suit and a red tie in my real
life. It's not a bad look." Hitman is scheduled for a Nov. 21
release. Mike Szymanski

"I used to think my favorite movie was
either Blue Velvet, The Godfather or Pulp Fiction. But for years my
IMDB.com profile has said it's actually Dogma, which I've never
seen, even though I'm a Kevin Smith fan. So, you know how when
people hype a movie too much, even if it's good, it's not as good
because it was overhyped? Well, can you imagine how it's going to be
for me when I finally do see Dogma?" - InStyle, October 2007 -
